This was me...

That was me and my buggy bump...It's an Iphone pic. BLEH.

One thing about being pregnant was, I didn't take tons of pictures. I regret that. I feel sad about it. My pregnancy was very much so planned, but the events that were taking place in our life at the time over came me and the camera. Also the weight.

I found out I was pregnant at the end of December of 2009. I went back to work the beginning of January 2010 after being on unemployment for a year...(That was a LOVELY year). We owned a itty bitty condo that we bought at the top of the market in 2005. It was the only thing we could afford, thinking we hit the jack pot we bought it...a one bedroom less than 700 square feet condo. So, with baby on her way...we decided to let our condo go along with the many other people in the world. We purchased for around 275k and by the end of it it was worth...maybe 69k. Right choice...I think so.

In June...my big pregnant belly and the husband packed up our condo and moved to our HUGE rental house in Benicia...Lots of unpacking, decorating and preparing for baby had me preoccupied from documenting my pregnancy.

When I think of not having photographs of my pregnancy, I cry. That was nine months of my life...I carried and created a life and I missed out on pictures? Possibly the biggest most proud moments in a persons life and I skipped out on pictures? I did do a little shoot with the family about two weeks before delivery...but that's about all I've got. It's sad.

And, what's even sadder...will that have been my ONLY pregnancy?

Only time will tell...

While you can't go back to these moments in pictures, blogging about hem is a great way to keep them from fading from your memory and may even be better.
