On Sunday afternoon I was in a car accident. We're fine, my sweet girl was in the car with me, she's fine, she was startled but fine. I'm fine. A little shaken up, a little sore...but fine. One minute I was driving along the next I was pulled over on the side of the road. It happened so quickly...Things like this happen so quickly. Life happens so quickly.
My first thought of course was my daughter...was she ok, was she hurt, scared, did she know what happened. Next thought was a selfish thought and as soon as I thought it I felt terrible. I instantly thought, "What else can happen to me, what's next." I know how lucky I am to be safe and no one was hurt, I know there are terrible things going on all over the world. I know people are less fortunate than me. But honestly, I just feel like it's one thing after another for me. I have amazing, happy days daily...I'm blessed daily with my daughter. But the last few years have been rough for me and I'm not seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Surely, there has to be an upside to all my downs. I'm terrified on what that the news will be when they inspect my car. I'm bummed that I may have to come up with the deductable amount or worse, a new car. Luckily, I'm able to borrow my parents car for the time being. This is all defenitly putting a lot into perspective for me...I'm not loosing hope in the good...I'm hoping I've got a dose of good luck coming my way...

“Do not limit the limitless! With Him, face the future unafraid because you are never alone.” – I live by this saying because it’s true. He has a plan why He has put you in darkness first. He wants you to see the wonder of His gift once He turns on the light back in your life. Regarding the insurance, you better call for legal assistance to get the full benefits. I hope this will give you peace of mind.

UGH, sorry about the car accident! That is so scary, but I'm glad you're both OKAY! : ) I know how you feel with the "one thing after another." Life has been like that lately for me too.
I'm already a follower, but I'm stoping by again from the Mom's Monday Mingle ; )
I am so glad you and your daughter are okay. That is very scary. I also completely understand where you are coming from on feeling like it is one thing after another. It is kind of crazy because in light of what others are suffering in this world especially in CT you don't want to be down when you are considered a "lucky" one but we all suffer in different ways. Just because you do not face a tragedy of that magnitude (thank God) doesn't make what is hard on you any easier. But I do understand the guilt that is associated with feeling down when it could be worse. I really hope things get better for you very soon.
By the way I am your newest follower from the Mom's Monday Mingle. Thanks for Co hosting.

“It happened so quickly...Things like this happen so quickly. Life happens so quickly.”--- It’s as if you didn’t know what really happened. One minute you’re fine and injured the next. That’s why it is very essential for you to drive safely and responsibly on the road. Well, you really have to, especially if you have your loved ones with you. Don’t wait for the worst to happen before you do anything.
I’m just glad you and your daughter were not badly injured! I know it has been rough for you the last few years, but everything will be okay as long as you hold onto your faith. It can be a big help for your finances if you try and claim your compensation from your insurance company.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I'm glad you are alright. Car accidents can be very scary especially if you are injured. I was in a accident a few years back and couldn't work for a while. The insurance company was paying me annuity but my medical bills were piling up. I had to purchase a structured settlement and it got me through some tough times.
Accidents do happen anytime, anywhere that's why we have to be extra careful. Mostly you and every other person drives with their kids. It's good that you are both okay. Always think you are lucky that you both are safe.
