10 things for 2012...

1. Budget...

I used to be a hard core budgeter. That's when I had money...now I have none and I suck. I used to shop at the Targ for whatevs, pick up the lovely Startbucks and not feel guilty. Now I'm pinching pennies.

2. Cook....More.

Simple as that. I like cooking. I used to cook ALL the time...I want to use my crock pot in full force too. And uhhh hello....Pinterest is LOADED with yumminess...

3. Organize

My house is a disaster...I don't know where anything is...really.

4. Time management...

I honestly don't know what the heck I do with my time. I don't have cable. I don't search pinterest all night, Facebook...I'm over it. Where the heck is my time going. I need to be a better planner. With my chick, home life, activities, work, blog, etsy...you name it I need to spend my time wisely especially as a single momma.

5. Fun...

I need it...more of it. And by fun..I don't care what it is. Makena's getting to the age of really being able to do things...I want to have fun with her...go on adventures. Of course this momma needs some fun of her own as well.

6. Crafting...for pleasure...

I used to scrapbook all the time. I love it. For some reason I've lost it. I guess that falls into the time management. Before baby I did it...some would say I don't now because I have a baby...but dude, chick goes to bed between 7:30 and 8:30...I've got the time. And She's 15 months I am WAY behind on documenting her life.

7. Crafting...for Etsy...

I hope to eventually have a successful shop...

8. Me...

Fashion, beauty, heath...take more time out for me. Spend more time on myself.

9. Exercise...

If it's a stroll thru the park, walk the reservoir, get on the treadmill, lunges, abs...
who doesn't want a bod like this:

10. Vacation..

I deserve a freakin' vacay...

The crafting pic with the collage of 3 pics.. Did you make the thing in the middle? If so what is it?

Hi!

I also love scrapbooking (despite the fact that I have zero time for it myself)... Have you ever tried digital scrapbooking? I was skeptical but I fell in love with it - 1. it's SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper (I'd recommend using MemoryMixer or Scrapbook Flair... I prefer memory mixer but all of the FREE downloadable embellishments/backgrounds from Scrapbook Flair can be used with MemoryMixer). 2. It's easier - there isn't the huge production of pulling all your supplies out (which you no longer have to store) and it's a project you can take with you now! and 3. You can export the pages as images and have them printed as bound books, which come out really, really nicely (and make it easy to replace them if something is spilled on them, etc...)

Anyways! Just passing on some advice for a fellow crafter on a budget! :)

I hear you on the Crockpot! How great is it to come home to a cooked meal?!

And also, the budget. I should do that too but it scares me. Have you heard of mint.com? People swear by it, but I know my spending habits are not what they should be so I refuse for now.

I feel exactly like this, where is my time going, and I need to budget like crazy too, I'm about to be a single mom and it's scary.

Great list! You've got me thinking about my time, too...? I used to scrapbook as well and now I'm thinking of how I ripped off my three year old. I better hop to!

Take it easy on yourself. It sounds like you have your hands full and it is definitely a lot to do on your own. xx
