pinned it. made it. ate it...

I've been a Pinterest pinner for a long time. Like forever. Not so much food, but fashion, crafts, quotes..
I've been looking for food these days...dinners to be exact. Quick and easy.

My sister...She is a crazy pinner. After months of me explaining to her how great Pinterest is and showing her how to pin, a million times over, mind you. Chick has one up'd me and is cookin' things from Pinterest. What....wait a min...she doesn't even cook! But thanks to Pinterest she is now and she does! It's good too! So while visiting her over the weekend and her whipping up some super yum bruschetta...she's inspired me to pin and actually make!

I pinned this Baked Penne and put my Pinterest pinning to the use....

Ingredients:

1/2 lb. extra-lean ground beef or Italian Sausage- I used ground beef.
1/2 cup chopped onions- I'm not a huge onion fan, so I used minced onions instead.
1/2 cup green peppers- I used red peppers.
1 jar(24 oz.) spaghetti sauce
1 tub(10 oz.) Philadelphia Italian Cheese and Herb Cooking Creme, divided
1 cup Kraft Shredded Mozzarella Cheese, divided
3 cups cooked penne pasta

Boil pasta...

In skillet brown meat, add onions, and peppers:

Once meat is cooked add jar of spaghetti sauce:

Add half of the cooking cream:

One cup cheese:

Mix together:

Add cooked pasta:

Mix together:

Transfer from skillet to casserole dish, add remaining cooking cream and cup of cheese. Cook in oven for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted:

Serve it up...

Enjoy...
